Liposuction and Liposculpture surgery is performed to actually remove unwanted localized deposits of fat cells from the body. A thin cannula is inserted through a tiny incision placed in an inconspicuous location on the skin. With a high-pressure vacuum, fat cells are extracted through this tube.
Liposculpture is an evolution from the classic liposuction in which thinner cannulas are used more superficially to allow the necessary skin retraction that will re-contour your body.
This procedure is the most frequently used on the abdomen, waist, and back, in both men and women. Women also request the removal fat from their lower extremities (outer and inner thighs, knees, etc).
Neck contouring will also improve both men and women’s aesthetic appearance. The fat can be recycled to be used as a facial filler (cheeks, lips, nasolabial lines) or to enhance the gluteal area on women.
Recovery depending on the extent of the procedure will be in our post-operative recovery room for a few hours and you may go home the same day. You may gradually increase your activities as tolerated. After 2 to 5 days you may resume normal activities. You need to wear a snug elastic dressing, girdle or body stocking over the treated area to aid healing.
